Suboxone Treatment

For individuals who have become dependent on opioids due to chronic use, it can be difficult to break free from this cycle of addiction. However, there is hope in the form of Suboxone treatment.

Suboxone is a medication that combines buprenorphine and naloxone, which work in conjunction to help reduce cravings and withdrawal symptoms that can occur during the detoxification process.

With a strong support system in place and the use of effective medication like Suboxone, patients can take control of their addiction and begin to reclaim their lives, free from the burden of substance abuse.

FAQ

One of the most exciting areas of research in medicine involves making the most of the initial healing stages: inflammation and an increase in cells, or cell proliferation. Regenerative medicine uses your body’s natural healing resources to help regrow, repair, or replace damaged or diseased cells, organs or tissues. The four main types of regenerative therapy are prolotherapy, platelet-rich plasma (PRP), cartilage regeneration, and stem cell therapies.

Erectile Dysfunction (ED) is the persistent inability to achieve or maintain an erection sufficient for satisfactory sexual performance.

The male sexual response cycle could be divided into its three component parts: libido (desire), erectile function, sexual activity. All kinds of factors such as psychological factors, surgery and trauma, vascular diseases, neurological factors, etc. can cause ED as long as they affect any part of the sexual response cycle. In addition, there are various implicated risk factors for SD in men such as altered lifestyle, stressful living conditions, various chronic diseases, diverse environmental pollutants and several drug side effects.

ED often involves a combination of vascular, neurological, endocrinological, and psychological factors, and so the condition is not limited to elderly men. Other risk factors such as cardiovascular disease, hypertension, diabetes, hypercholesterolemia, and smoking have been strongly associated with an increased prevalence of ED.

Normally, the blood supply to the penis originates predominantly from the internal pudendal artery, which branches into the penile artery. The penile artery then branches into the cavernous arteries. The cavernous artery enters the cavernous body and subsequently divides into many branches called the helicine arteries, which open into the cavernous sinuses. Blood in the cavernous sinuses is drained by the subtunical veins that form the venous plexuses just beneath the tunica albuginea and then returns to the circulation via 3 sets of veins; the superficial, intermediate and deep veins.

In patients with erectile dysfunction, the main issue is insufficient blood flow to the penis. Blood flow is cut off or inadequate due to insufficient opening inside the vessel to allow more blood flow due to plaque build up. This is caused by a variety of factors listed above.

  1. Medications
    1. A class of agents known as type-5 phosphodiesterase (PDE5) inhibitors have become the first-line therapy for ED, as recommended by the American Urological Association (AUA) and the European Association of Urology (EAU). These include oral medications such as Phosphodiesterase-5 (PDE5) inhibitors: Sildenafil (Viagra), tadalafil (Cialis), vardenafil (Levitra), and avanafil (Stendra).
    2. The 3 most commonly used medications for injection therapy are Trimix, Bimix, and papaverine. Most men begin injection therapy with Trimix, which is a mixture of 3 ingredients: alprostadil, phentolamine, and papaverine. These ingredients work by relaxing the smooth muscle and opening the blood vessels in your penis, causing an erection.  Must be stored in the refrigerator. Side effects reported were pain, priapism, bruising, and curvature or the penis.
  2. Vacuum-Constriction Devices
  3. Prosthetic Implants
  4. Intraurethral Suppositories
  5. Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP) Therapy

Take Back Your Vitality!

You may be a good candidate for Weight Loss Programs if you experience any of the following symptoms:

    1. Fatigue or Lack of Energy: People who are overweight may feel tired or lack energy due to the extra weight they are carrying. This can make physical activities more challenging.

    2. Breathlessness: Carrying extra weight can put strain on the heart and lungs, which can result in shortness of breath, particularly during physical exertion.

    3. Joint and Back Pain: The additional weight can place extra pressure on the joints and back, potentially leading to pain and discomfort, and over time can contribute to chronic conditions such as osteoarthritis.

    4. Difficulty Sleeping: Conditions like sleep apnea, where breathing repeatedly stops and starts during sleep, are more common in overweight individuals. This can result in poor sleep quality.

    5. Body Image Concerns and Low Self-Esteem: Being overweight can impact an individual’s self-esteem and body image, leading to psychological and emotional distress.

    6. Difficulty with Physical Activity or Exercise: Extra weight can make it more difficult to move and be physically active, which can limit participation in sports or exercise and can contribute to a cycle of weight gain.

    7. Increased Sweating: People who are overweight might sweat more than others because the body has to exert more effort to function, which raises body temperature and triggers increased sweat production.

Can change the trajectory of your intimate health?

Yes! Regenerative Medicine is focused on developing and applying new treatments to heal tissues and organs and restore function lost due to aging, disease, damage or defects.

When injured or invaded by disease, our bodies have the innate response to heal and defend. The field of regenerative medicine focuses on restoring structure and function of damaged tissues and organs. Regenerative medicine goes beyond disease management to search for and discover therapies that support the body in repairing, regenerating and restoring itself to a state of well-being.

What’s the Difference Between Regenerative & Rejuvenative Medicine

Rejuvenative Medicine is a way to define the ultimate goal of providing new energy and revitalizing an individual’s quality of life by using regenerative medicine.

Meet Owner and Nurse Practitioner, Sharyn L. Cass

Sharyn L. Cass, ANP-C is an Adult Medicine Nurse Practitioner in Hamburg, NY. Ms. Cass has over 15 years of experience in the healthcare field.

“My ultimate goal in healthcare is to promote confidence, personal growth, and foster intimacy and love in relationships. Suffering from urinary incontinence, sexual displeasure, and erectile dysfunction (ED) is frustrating, embarrassing and disempowering for a great many of people who experience it. Who do men and women turn to when previous treatments do not work or are not available? Who can men and women speak to when they are embarrassed to discuss the matter with another medical provider? In my experience during my healthcare career, sexual issues that are brought to a patient’s medical provider are solved with a referral to GYN or urology or given medications and, still, their issues are unmet. Who can you turn to? Me. My treatments work. I focus on the entire human being. I give 110% care to all my patients, because EVERYONE deserves a life lived with joy, confidence, and happiness.”
